Historical Notes

OneTable Pittsburgh is the local hub of a national program that "helps 'pre-family' young adults create their own authentic Shabbat dinner experiences, with the ultimate goal of forming a lifelong Friday night practice," according to the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh. OneTable provides financial assistance and an online scheduling platform to help encourage community gatherings. OneTable also provides spiritual and educational resources for various themed gatherings throughout the year. Following the attack at the Tree of Life synagogue on October 27, 2018, the Anti-Defamation League and Repair the World partnered with OneTable, Be'chol Lashon, and Keshet to create a packet of materials for "Together At The Table." The packet was intended to guide Shabbat table discussions about the attack.
