Duquesne University held an Interfaith Prayer Service on October 30, 2018 in remembrance and support of the congregations and those impacted by the October 27 attack. The program included traditional Catholic hymns performed by the Duquesne University Chapel Choir and Jewish prayers led by the Duquesne Jewish Student Organization, as well as other clergy, rabbis, and school administrators, Speakers and performers included Michael Joncas, Rev. Raymond French, Herb Kolbe, Professor Seth Oranburg, Cantor Sara Stock Mayo, Rev. William Christy, Rabbi Danielle Leshaw, Dr. Matthew Schneirov, Shai Maaravi, David DeFelice, Dr. Marinus Iwuchukwu, Rabbi Shmuel Weinstein, and Duquesne University President Ken Gormley.

The October 27 Archive collects responses to an antisemitic attack in Pittsburgh, Pa. on October 27, 2018. These responses take many forms but share a motivating impulse. Each began in the mind and heart of someone who was moved by the events of that day and was compelled to create something meaningful from that feeling. By sharing these responses, those people chose to be vulnerable for the sake of a greater good. The October 27 Archive website was launched with the belief that sharing these responses with the world can provide an avenue for people all over the world to reflect, learn, and heal.
